IDK why am I here. Booo... My hongkong pics is STILL not up on facebook and probably yan is skinning me very soon. I'm going to very lame and random (grumpy) in this post so be warned, by me of course. ^^

MY PAY IS FINALLY FINALLY OH SO FINALLY COMING NEXT WEEK. I'm feeling utterly dry these weeks after the trip and gosh, it seems to be like I'm owing everyone money. THIS SUCKS. Didn't I told myself to go hide in some ulu cave in North ~~South~~ Korea? If I seems to be not enthu in going out, it's because I have totally no money and I don't want to go out to spend. I don't feel good, and I feel even worse when I have to get you to pay first. /bangwall

So anyway, I still spent ending up owing everywhere. Pay day is my debt-clearing day. Oh I feel so great to clear debt, then my account still going to be borderline poor, how great.

Why are my weekends spent outdoor and I want to stay indoor to write!!? soh lidikillous. Please, stop getting me spending already. I'm dead poor and I'm going to almost snappy when comes to budget and everything. No I'm not kidding, perhaps.

One more month in IE and I'm probably going to extend again. Good or bad? I'm thinking of doing tuition to earn more money. I want money money MONEY!!!! *grabs whatever money raining from the sky* lol.

Oya, today, when I went to my cousin's baby first month buffet at her house and of course we met every relatives who turned up. Shall not talk about the times when they turned up, I tried to call the first one, she doesn't bother to nod or put some fake smile, fine. Then the second one, heck I did care to bother to greet. She's fine with it anyway I bet. After which I didn't turn to throw any glances at them, I kept eating on food and food and ya, desserts, then I spaced out, if my phone hadn't have low batt, I would just concentrate on writing my flows in notes. We spent a bit of waiting and dilly-dallying to chat with Uncles and Aunts before bidding goodbyes to everyone. Then came them waving a oh-so-enthusiastic goodbyes to us at the lift, was that necessary? Was that genuine? Or were they trying to be grateful that we were finally leaving? Beats me and I'm not going to care, I'm going to take it as they were being too enthusiastic for NOTHING. Or maybe it was just me thinking too much, but not only I thought so too.

I got several shock by watching this performance.

1. Anyone heard this song, before this perf is out, thought that the first singer is Kyuhyun? I did. I totally did.
2. I was quite skeptical about myself about the second singer, I thought it's Yesung. But on a second thought, he doesn't sounds like him, wait, he did, wait, no... yes he is Yesung. argh!
3. YESUNG IS FREAKING CUTE AND HOT AND SEXY IN THE PERF. GAHHHHH~
4. I love this boys because the way they put on their performance, it's really very heartwarming. Especially seeing everyone ~~except that omfg EEEEEEEE heechul~~ smiling and grinning while dancing. awesome.

the cough and pain is killing me, and i'm feeling groggy after drinking the medicine, in fact i felt sleepy the whole day. i resist the sleepiness taking its effect on me this morning because i want to go out to walk walk with my mum later and not sleep, knowing that if i once lie on my bed i wouldn't want to wake up for as long as possible.

it was a nice moment to walk with my mum around in ION and we shared a tori-q bento set, been long we ate it together.. and we ate the Pannacotta Mixed Berry Pasticream from Marvelous Cream as dessert. I really love this flavour but it cost $5.90 for a small cup. I want more from the shop and more shopping with mummy!

just a small update
haiz, i got my smu rejection letter last week and i'm trying to squeeze my brain cells to churn out a not-more-than-1000 word appeal letter.
currently 300 words. i need help please :\

working in IE is really good, i like working in bugis. so glad i chose this job instead. met great people and great environment. i get to go shopping everyday at bugis junction and bugis street!! nah! i go home everyday after work, no shopping except a few times *cross fingers* hehehe

i really hope for an acceptance in other uni, which is highly unlikely to come true i bet. ):
suddenly feel my future very bleak.

some part of me don't wish to go to private uni actually, unless no choice, like yenpeng said, people from all walks of life are there. hard to get friend, hard to find true friends. money is another problem definitely.

i know recently i made a friend really unhappy. i'm very sorry, sheryl.

i am starting to panick over my acceptance of the local unis now after reading mingde's post.

it's not that my grades are high to get accepted. no.

i'm so worried that i have a high chance of getting no-acceptance from the 3 unis i applied.

should i earn a year of working experience then to apply local unis again, or to study at a foreign uni?

of course i would consider curtin u.

sometimes i just need a support. i'll be happy enough.

would you choose a government statutory job that able you to experience events coordinations and also administrative work, organising seminars and talks which would give you a great sense of satisfaction if it was done successfully?

a job at a bank, handling documents and assisting your managers to do administrative work, not forgetting to mention data entries as well. A BANK, bank of tokyo MUFJ.

i think the pay are almost around the same. just, I'm caught between these 2 job offers, and i gave my words to the bank job already. but my heart is itching for the former job. :\

and i rejected a job at tuas which will earn me $1.8k per month.

sometimes if i wonder do people try to understand each other, being considerate and think of people's feeling first before theirs? i thought i have tried enough to think for people first then myself, comforting myself from my sadness trying to be strong even though i felt really sad and no one ever really consider that part for me, just that part that day.

i may not be good at explanation, neither i'm that bad that makes you think i'm playing with words again and again. if by putting the blame/wrong/bad on me first, then it's really quite saddening. you don even bother to say you don't understand(nicely) so i can explain things again which may clear up confusions or misunderstandings(which i thought it was very clear enough). you straight away jump into conclusions that i have explained things like shit again, which this time i can be very firmed that i explained things super clear enough.

i don't want to talk to you. good sentence. i like it.

today i went to jb with sheryl for a shopping outing, so long never shop for this and that liao.. actually, city square seems a good place to shop, because got etude house, skin food, skin shop and ELIANTO!! hahahaha... got very good 收获 cos i managed to buy elianto's nail strengthener^^ i felt that it is a good nail strengthener and it was out of stock when i went to elianto at genting last dec. also i bought nail polish remover, a nail colour - blue!!, elianto's hair moisturizer, PA's nail sticker and 2 magazines =P

and not forgetting to mention our ice-cream treat at cafe baskin's robbins!! i love the flavour - love potion xP

baskin robbins!! shall try their ice-cream cake next time sheryl!!!!

FIND JOB

i desperately needs a job.

i'm done with the uni applications, finally.

went down to NUS on last monday just to hand in my documents cos the deadline for submission is a day before. even though i know it's slim chance that i could be accepted in NUS, but i just want to give it a try - to the extend i travel from vanco to nus. when i reach the office, the kind lady say i could mail them today or tomorrow as they will still accept slightly late submissions. =.= i omoz couldn't find the office cos i missed the bustop. lol.

did i say i wanted to go for a swim? hahahahaha.. i'm going to swim next week. no, I MUST GO SWIM NEXT WEEK. =P super long never swim liao, the last time was with yan they all which was like 2-3 years ago i think..

wish everyone 心想事成 in this tiger year! haha..

this year is very special, chinese new year and valantine's day clashes on the same day. what did you choose? neither i have a valentine, nor i can celebrate cny this year, boring isn't it? as usual went back to malaysia to celebrate a quiet cny. also to prepare for the trip to port dickson on the 初二. really nothing to do, so gamble with my aunts and my mum - mj and poker cards and won quite a lot =P hehehe..

the weather was sooo superbly hot that i can't wait to get to port dickson to go for a swim. heard from friends saying port dickson isn't a good getaway place. :\

trip to PD.

roar, woke up at 7am and waited for the van to come. wth, the van was so lousy, lousy seats, lkk-a-million times, weak aircon and ya it just sucks. and it cost 600rm. =.= it was a bumpy ride to port dickson as you know, malaysia's road are so not smooth one.. this was just the prequel to this so-not-amazing-getaway-cny-trip.

upon reaching the Ancasa resort suite, *haix* very very very few chinese and lots of malays at the beach and oso the pool so my dad din allow me to go swim. )):

not only that, we stil have to wait to check-in at around 5pm?..! initially the receptionist say we can check-in at 3pm, then dragged to 4pm. then 5pm.. but one thing good was our suite got sea view. as for my room, nice sea view and the bed was facing the sea. nice right?!

drank beer and drank alot of sweet drinks these few days. feel so dehydrated..

if only my cousin had booked another resort and further down the beach coast, i could have went for a swim as more chinese and cleaner beach. the beach at the resort we were staying was quite dirty..

my stupid lappy died again when i had swollen eyes. how LUCKY i am huh! wore sunglasses to simlim square, and even walk-in into the shop with my sunglasses on, i wonder if the technician thinks i'm crazy. both days when i took leave my lappy just die, it never seems to give me good days. roar.

at least this looks better than in the morning, when it swell like a goldfish. fml

finally the nightmare terror was over, when i sweat like mad and stutter like i got da-she-tou..
ended my internship in reliance last friday and i'm really going to miss the days working with xueqian terry and daryl.. i was glad that i could work along very well with them, with a good supervisor gavin (:
very tired these days when i have slog this slog that slog everything but now, everything seems to have put a stop, period.

grandmother passed away last year and that really makes me sad and regret, regret for not attending her birthday last year. now, if someone wants me to choose between family or him, i choose family. i don have the second chance to retake my life with the right decision. i cried even harder during her funeral becos i missed her bdae and now she's gone. i'm a bad grandaughter.
becos grandmother is gone, we can't celebrate CNY this year. going to spend 4 days in malaysia just to gamble. how "high". my dad say we are going to port dickson(i wonder if it spells this way) for 2d1n. it cost SGD$80 per person, damn i rather go genting!! wat kind of chalet resort cost 80 bucks per person, including transportation fees? worse when i heard from friends that it's a sucky place. =.=! my dumb brother is not going in. damn you return my PSP!!

would be back on tuesday hopefully with nice pictures. I DON WANT TO ROT DURING THESE 4 DAYS!!?

i heard suju is going to malaysia this march, I WANT TO GO THEIR CONCERT!! shall ask my cousins for more info.

McDonald's takes the charm out of Doraemon series
MCDONALD'S started a Doraemon lucky charm series recently with each lucky charm sold at $2 if one orders a set meal. My two-year-old daughter is a Doraemon fan and can sing the song whenever she sees the cartoon cat.

Thinking of getting four Doraemon lucky charms representing the Chinese zodiac signs of my family - Tiger, Rabbit, Pig and Ox - I visited the McDonald's outlet in Tampines Mall on Monday. The idea was to display them during Chinese New Year.

After I bought the Tiger and Rabbit lucky charms, I scanned the series and realised one animal was missing from the 12 signs - the Pig. Instead, McDonald's had a Cupid Doraemon.

I could understand why Cupid was there as the first day of Chinese New Year happens to be Valentine's Day. But why should the Pig be missing from the series since all other 11 animals (even the mythical dragon) are included?

Puzzled, I asked the counter staff. The answer surprised me even more: As a halal restaurant, McDonald's could not display or sell Pig soft toys.

I understand that we need to respect our Muslim citizens as Singapore is a multiracial and multicultural society. Halal food establishments must meet the criteria set by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) to be certified as such. I also understand why some restaurants do not allow dogs on their premises as it may offend Muslim diners.

I have Muslim friends and when I invite them for a meal, I make sure I have a halal food option. If I dine with them, I avoid ordering pork dishes too.

However, in this case, the Pig is one of the Chinese zodiac signs - part of Chinese culture and customs - and it is just a soft toy, not food.

Will the sight of a Doraemon collectible Pig soft toy offend anyone? Was the decision based on a recommendation from Muis?

I have given up collecting the lucky charms because my girl was born in the Year of the Pig and she has no 'luck' in getting her Doraemon charm.

zzzz my mouse went spoil on sunday and i went to challenger to get a new mouse, was planning to get a earpiece as well.
then i was pondering whether to buy a normal mouse or a good-and-last-long-like-hell mouse, of course cost more. :\
so i filter my choices down to the 2 mouse (like pageant? hahaha) - Razor Salmosa, and Razor Krait.
Krait is the one with the light glowing at the side of the mouse with slightly lesser dpi.
Salmosa has a higher dpi of 1800. think salmosa cost more? i forget liao.. haha..
i bought Salmosa anyway, my brother was like "RAZOR FOR FACEBOOK?! YOU'RE MAD AR TSK!"

zzzz... barely passed the test.. freak out when i realise i spent 1 hour on stupid basic configurations =x
whenever tjk approached me during the test,
i shivered and stuttered when i talked
and the fear.. of failing and his face overwhelmed me =.=
tjk asked me to telnet, i blank out and couldn't remember what is the command for it.
then couldn't calculate my wildcard mask correctly
i din expect it will test me on filtering even addresses instead of odd's:\\
it's like sitting on a roller-coaster during this test..
i was quite confident in making the whole thing successful
but the more i do the more i couldn't get the thing right
tjk say my network's wrong and i couldn't do an extended ping!! argh
then when i could connect to np net,
he say my wildcard mask's wrong.
he din even bother to grade me for that i could connect to np net!?

so what if cheatsheets are allowed?

FNS was the one that killed my brain cells most. 罪魁祸首 .. the past year papers were useless, wth.. My notes are definitely better than :E 's so-called impt lecture, which he just went tru the slides. I oso knw how.. :\

CSF was ok, seeing the smarts left the hall early means the paper was considerably managable? haha(:

Sheryl and i were planing to have some steamboat session with people in the evening, but end up, left with the two of us, the couple jh and siqiao going IMM and had dinner at some cafe restaurant which I don remember the name.

it's a busy day today (: with fun and everything of course~

morning:
went to complete my fns prac with siqiao, huiting and terry cos we failed to do the prac yesterday. it was sooo smooth-sailing while doing it, everything can ping, block de block. ^^
then afternoon, jinghan acc me to international plaza to collect my miserably less than 100 bucks pay at my agency there. wth... I HATE CPF!! wth. i would be grateful to it when i'm old though=X
then we went to marina square to eat some trolley noodles at the food court there. food's not bad(:

wanted to do my debate at home but i couldn't make it in time for my group's debate if i go str home after the meal:\ so jinghan and i went to mcd, wanted to camp there do my debate over msn de.. at first we couldn't find a plug to charge jinghan's lappy. and when we found one plug. there's 3 b*tches siting near it, using lappy. so we politely ask them whether we could sit there cos we wanan use the plug, THEN THEY SAY THEY WANNA USE IT =.= stupid b*tches. if not for me u won realise there's a plug lor... B*TCHES! argh.

anyway, so, we went to gloria's jeans and there got plugs.. thank god.. then i started on my debate :X i just realised a debate requires no scripts. just quick enuf to react will do, I sound so experience...... LOL! Even though [REC] has been on my radar for over a year now, it’s not something I was overly excited about. It’s not that it didn’t sound like a cool project – especially having Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza co-direct it – it’s just that pretty much every single Filmax movie is the same. They look the same, feel the same, play the same and even have similar stories, which is why I figured this collaboration would be just another “good rental” – boy was I wrong. [REC], following similar themes to BLAIR WITCH and DIARY OF THE DEAD, is an ambitious low budget first person film that takes place in near-real time over the course of one night.

The film turns on a young TV reporter and her cameraman who cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams -- which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.

If I could have my way I’d tell you to stop reading this review right now and go see the movie, but unfortunately it probably won’t see the light of day here in the States until after the remake (Quarantine) arrives in theaters next October… (In a perfect world.) What’s really effective about [REC] is the unknown and having no clue what to expect. Originally I thought what I was seeing was just another ghost film, when actually it’s a quasi self-contained zombie movie.

What most movies fail to do is heighten the suspense, action and violence until the very last frame; most drop the ball around the third act – but not [REC]. Once sh-t hits the fan what transpires is non-stop madness. The infected are extremely creepy as they make really odd noises, scream high pitch squeals and run at their victims faster than any previous zombie-esque film. The way suspense is built is nothing new, but it is exceptionally executed. Because everything is first person we get loads of suspense just from that - we see the cameraman having to walk around handcuffed zombies, there’s a segment where the lights go out and he’s forced to use night vision and when things pop out of the shadows to attack it’s almost as if you’re standing right there. In fact, you never even see the cameraman, it’s almost as if he’s you!

As the film escalates the situation goes from under control to loose cannon to complete chaos, ending in what could be one of the scariest moments ever caught on film. My nails were dug deep into the armrest of the seats and I found myself howling in excitement nearly ever few minutes. [REC] has it all and is probably one of the best Spanish horror films in recent memory. There are buckets of blood used, well-developed characters, a wonderful twist, a good solid story and a finale that will ensure you leave the theater in shock. I cannot stress enough that you should see this in a theater if possible (check out BDTV for fan reactions at Sitges). Either way I give [REC] the B-D stamp of approval and smile at the fact that something extraordinary has finally come out of Filmax.

this is the movie me, si qiao and terry went to watch today. SPLENDID. terry finds the place stuffy hence couldn't concentrate on watching it at the last half an hour of the film =X while si qiao and i busy screaming. lol. me la me la, i admit that i screamed while watching the movie, esp the last half of the film, when the residents began to react and turned into undeads(or whateva you call)... the suspense escalates when angela and pablo went up to the penthouse and discover the dark secret of the building. woa. the underwear woman really freaks me out =X as wat the review above rated, mine's gonna be 9/10 as well! just i really hate the "secret" agent planted inside the building, so irritating and serve him right for being bitten to undead by jennifer.. LOL...

btw, there would be a sequel to [REC] (: I'M SOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!! omg *screams*

school started a week ago, and I shall not talk about my mood for the school. just the same old story, fed-up.

this sem is different from last time, so great that I've got Sheryl with me taking 970 omoz everyday. It's good to have someone with you taking the same bus home(:

so far so good for the lecturers and their lectures, just I wasn't quite happy with the grouping of one of my modules. I want to be with si qiao and hwee ting, but to think about it, it's better that I'm in my current group than with the afro around :\ at least the guys in my group are crazily smart. with the rest of the practicals' grouping, I was soo glad that I wasn't paired with *him*. thank god, thank guan yin mama, thank my ancestors. lols. I would be a goner if pairing is by register numbers. LOL.

argh. going to genting this weekend with Sheryl and her family. I'm so excited, in fact, thrilled about this trip. Afterall, it's my second trip to genting since primary 6. more to come hopefully, hehe XD

Yesterday, I suddenly strucked with a flu bug. My throat was sooo pain that I couldn't get into sleep until around 1 am. luckily my class starts at 12pm. I bought a packet of strepsils and it seems useless to sooth my sore throat, in fact, it worsened. X:
I ate soup ytf without noodles today if not my throat couldn't tahan. zzz and I'm dead hungry now!!

guess what, i've been watching the philiphino version of MY NAME IS KIM SAMSOON. LOL. I wouldn't say it's good, cos I've watched the korean version by Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah. and they really made the drama sooo nice to watch. BUT, the philipines version by Mark Anthony Fernandez and Regine Velasquez wasn't that bad cos it's quite hilarious at times. ROFL..

At deloitte, i just have to do mailing and courier services, also giving out stationeries. really easy job(: nice people nice environment. of course not to forget mentioning KS with the mango snapple and a can of coke (only sheryl knws XD)

overall, it's a very easy temp admin job, though stale, but with them, they made my day "fresh"^^

Today, I met sheryl and jinghan to go for a prawn fishing session at boon lay. it was sooo fun to catch prawns. my true new experience XD
we spent 3 hours there catching only 5 prawns :\ I managed to catch 3 prawns, quite an achievement oredy. but it was tedious to wait for the prawn to eat ur bait, i mean u literally stare at the bait. any movement you will be on red-alert and try to fish it up. it feels very discouraging when you fish up nothing after luring your prawn to eat your bait. but nevertheless, it's really very fun!!
poor jinghan kena smacked by sheryl's prawn at the last minute of our prawning session, cos sheryl's prawn just darted across me and head-butt jinghan's butt (though jinghan claimed it was his thighs), that scene was really very very very hilarious. everytime when i feel something is on my bait i would shriek. LOL. it's very adventurous to fish up the prawn!~ hehe
however it's quite expensive, if we are experts , it would be more worthwhile to prawn there as the prawns there are really big. my dad say it's those kinda prawns that those seafood resaturants would have serve de.
